The wars, massacres, and murders listed in the Bible were not just events of the past but alluded to the repeated history of humanity. They reminded us of Colombian news, where it seems that the fight for justice is a reason for punishment, and the suffering of others is commented on as just another day in the routine. Jesus is now not just a sacred figure but one more social leader, and Maria, a mother of Soacha, and his apostles part of the town.
